Renewal & Compliance Monitoring

Once you're certified, we track renewal deadlines and flag any amendment to the standard your product is certified against, so a licence or registration never lapses unnoticed.

Agenda planner and pen on a desk

Renewal dates tracked well before they become a problem.

What it is

Ongoing tracking of every certification you hold — BIS/ISI licences, FMCS, CRS and Scheme X registrations, and NOCs — covering renewal deadlines, periodic surveillance requirements, and amendments to the Indian Standard your product is certified against.

Who needs it

Any certified manufacturer or importer who doesn't want renewal dates, surveillance audits or standard revisions to depend on someone remembering to check a spreadsheet.

How it works

How ongoing monitoring works

Step 1: Onboard your certifications

We log every licence and registration you hold — BIS/ISI, FMCS, CRS, Scheme X, NOCs — along with their current validity and renewal dates.

Step 2: Track deadlines & standards

We monitor renewal dates, surveillance obligations and any revision to the Indian Standard each product is certified against.

Step 3: Flag & prepare in advance

You get advance notice of upcoming deadlines, with enough time to arrange re-testing or updated documentation if a standard has changed.

Step 4: File the renewal

We prepare and file the renewal application, so the certification stays continuously valid.

FAQ

Renewal & monitoring — common questions

Why does a certification need ongoing monitoring after it is granted?

BIS licences remain subject to periodic surveillance and marking fees, while CRS and Scheme X registrations run for a fixed validity period and need renewal before expiry. On top of that, the Indian Standard your product is certified against can itself be revised, which may require your documentation or process to be updated to stay compliant. None of this happens automatically — it needs someone tracking it.

What happens if a licence or registration lapses?

A lapsed licence or registration generally means you can no longer legally sell the product under that certification until it is renewed or reinstated — which can mean halted dispatches, held-up shipments at customs, or a paused tender or empanelment status. Renewal well before the deadline avoids this entirely.

Can you take over monitoring for a certification you didn’t originally handle?

Yes. Send us the licence or registration number and current documentation, and we'll pick up tracking its renewal date, surveillance obligations and any relevant standard amendments from there.

How far in advance do you flag an upcoming renewal?

We flag renewals well ahead of the expiry date, giving enough runway to gather updated documentation, arrange any required re-testing, and file before the deadline — rather than scrambling once it is close.
