Most standard product categories complete in 2–8 weeks. FMCS filings for overseas factories can take 8–12 weeks. You'll get a specific timeline in the first review.
Do foreign manufacturers need FMCS?
Yes — overseas factories selling notified products in India typically need BIS FMCS along with an Authorized Indian Representative. We handle both the documentation and the representative arrangement.
What's the difference between ISI and CRS?
ISI covers products that need the mark after a factory assessment. CRS is a registration scheme used mainly for electronics and IT equipment. We confirm the correct scheme before any filing begins.
